A First Look at the 5-Year Anniversary Edition and the Celebration Ahead

Five years ago today, I had no idea where What Can’t Be Hidden would travel.

When the book was released in 2021, I hoped people would connect with the story. What I didn’t anticipate were the conversations that would follow.

Over the years, readers have shared stories about seeing themselves in the characters, wrestling with questions raised by the novel, and finding language for experiences they struggled to describe.

As I prepared the 5-Year Anniversary Edition, I found myself revisiting not only the story itself, but also those conversations.

Today, I wanted to share the cover of the Anniversary Edition with you.

Twelve weeks from today, on September 8, the anniversary edition will be released.

That evening, we’ll also gather for a launch celebration at Bespoke Events + Experiences in downtown Columbus in collaboration with Viewpoint Books.

Over the next three months, I’ll be sharing stories from the journey, behind-the-scenes reflections, and a few surprises that have never appeared in print before.
